General Elections yesterday were decisive - and the PUP crushed the UDP - ending the count with a margin of 26 for the blue, and five for the red.

That's the exact number that that the UDP were swept into office with in 2008, when the PUP were basically chased out of Belmopan.

Well, now the shoe is on the other foot and after almost 13 years of UDP - voters rejected the red with maximum disdain - giving the PUP historic mandates in many divisions - which we'll tell you about later on.

But, if you want a snapshot of the total domination, tonight, this is how the political map of Belize looks - a sea of blue with only a small snatch of red - in Corozal North and in the city's micro-divisions of Collet, Mesopotamia, Queen Square and Albert.

Apart from that, the country is completely blue in the Cayo, Toledo and Stann Creek Districts.

Indeed the red's have been wiped out from historical dominance to devastation - where the margin of victory in many divisions is historic
