And keeping it on the new government - last night we told you that no gazette had been printed with the specific assignment of the various government departments under their ministerial portfolios.
Well, this morning we received - from high level government functionaries - an electronic copy of Government Gazette number 47 - dated November 21st, pages 851 though to 886 - 35 pages that details all those portfolio assignments.
Great! But, while it is dated November 21st, we checked and its not included in the Gazette sent out on the 21st. The issue seems to be a printing delay - because photos of the ministers have not been made available to affix above each portfolio assignment - as is the custom. This one from 2008 is an example. The electronic version sent to us includes no pictures.
In other government news, 7News has learned that the Briceno Administration plans the ceremonial opening of the House for December 11th and the first working session on December the 18th.
