Some weeks back, we told you that Minister of State Ramiro Ramirez was initially said to be in the Ministry of Natural Resources. It was even printed in the Gazette. Later, he was moved over to the Ministry or Rural Transformation. Yesterday, we asked the Minister of Natural Resources what really went down.

Hon Cordel Hyde, Minister of Natural Resource

"All ministers, that's the privilege of the Prime Minister, decide which ministry he wants to appoint you to, whether he wants to make you a minister or a minister of state, I could very easily not be the minister tomorrow so I'm not born to this position it's a privilege and an opportunity that we take very seriously and we're thankful for."

"I think it's much to do about nothing and I think Minister Ramiro is happy in Rural Development, I just spoke to him a couple days ago and he seemed pretty poised and pretty happy to be doing the job he's doing."
