And while you enjoy this year's virtual version of La Ruta Maya, did the PUP enjoying campaign financing from Lord Michael Ashcroft in the last election? Earlier this week Caribbean Shores Rep Kareem Musa flatly declared that he didn't get a dollar form Ashcroft. Last night on Uncut, Jules Vasquez pushed him on that subject - and here's the back and forth:

"Your party received money from Michael Ashcroft and you received money from your party."
Hon. Kareem Musa - Minister of Home Affairs
"I have received money from my party but what my party tells me we have not gotten it form Michael Ashcroft. Again, you are coming with confident facts."
Jules Vasquez
"So, you're saying the PUP did not receive money from Michael Ashcroft."
Hon. Kareem Musa
"I am saying what I have been told. I am not on all of the high-level committees that does negotiation to get donations for the party. I have never been and maybe hopefully I will never be on those big committees to negotiate those things but I can tell you I have never gotten any money from him and I am told the party has not, at least this election."

"It would be a first."

"In the past I can't speak for the past, I'm speaking for now."

"But you're old enough and wise enough and experienced enough to know your straight lines from your curves in that case you can't believe the PUP didn't really get money from Ashcroft."
Hon. Kareem Musa
"So, you're saying that I am naive and gullible to have this belief?"
Jules Vasquez
"I don't believe you're either I believe that's what you're presenting to me."
Hon. Kareem Musa
"I'm telling you what I know!"
Jules Vasquez
"You're telling me what they told you, that's not what you know, minister."
Hon. Kareem Musa
"So, I was to go an investigate it, is what you're saying? To make sure that I didn't get."
