PM To LA For Summit of The Americas

And in other news, Prime Minister John Briceno is now his way to Los Angeles tonight. He is expected to attend the 9th Summit of the Americas from June 8-10. Briceno is accompanied by Foreign Minister, Eamon Courtenay, CabSec, Stuart Leslie and his brother, trade and investment Ambassador Jaime Briceno - who the PM told us paid for his own ticket. They are expected to return on June 11th, but until then, DPM Cordel Hyde will act as prime minister.

We note that the PM will be out of the country for much of the next 4 weeks - attending official meetings in Rwanda and Suriname.
