For Faber - who has been mostly lying low since he walked off the set of Uncut in January - it seems like he had a whole lot pent up - and more than a few scores to settle - with everyone from John Saldivar to the relatively obscure chair of the party's nomination committee - who had the temerity to reject a 5 time area rep:

Patrick Faber, Collet Representative

"You appoint a nominations committee which is made up of 3 people who - oh my goodness, I don't want to be unkind to my party brothers and sisters, but this lady Sherlet Martinez who is a failed village council candidate in my own home village of Lord's Bank, another one from down south who is Ivan Williams' daughter, Indira, who could not win a village council either and a longstanding, I tell you I don't know how I could ever face Kevin Gonzales again. Somebody who I believe knows the history of this party and our struggle, for these persons to say to me and then the upper echelon of the party chairman and the leader of the party will say well, it is solely those persons, we don't have anything to do with it. That is utter nonsense. If John Saldivar can be accepted by a nominations committee? After John Saldivar has been suspended and expelled from the cabinet for lying to the prime minister and his colleagues and he has also with his own mouth confessed to taking the coast guard boat and transporting a convicted criminal from outside and his friends having to do nothing with the work of Belize, only to make sure he collects his tranche of money. He has confessed that he has done this and the nominations committee turned a blind eye to that and say go ahead Johnny you can run, but Patrick Faber, because I put up some Facebook posts which they never liked, cannot run in the strongest UDP constituency that exists today, then something is terribly wrong."
