Last night we brought you an interview with the former UDP Attorney General, Micheal Peyrefitte in which he questioned the validity of a little-known "Definitive Agreement" between the Port of Magical Belize and the Barrow Administration.

Peyrefitte said as AG that agreement would have had to pass through him. And additionally, as a member of the Cabinet Investment Committee - it also did not pass through that body.

Well, Tracy Teagar was the Chairman of that investment Committee and when she appeared on Sunup this morning - she said it was also news to her:

Tracy Tegar Panton, Area Rep, Albert
"Certainly one of the principles of good governance is transparency and accountability and so it is incumbent on all of us as leaders to ensure we move closer in that direction, there should be no secrets, I can share with you I chaired the Cabinet sub-committee on investments, um, and I am not aware of such a definitive agreement and so if indeed one exists it should be produced because it's certainly as far as I can recollect there was no such agreement signed by the United Democratic Party and this particular developer."
