And she hardly lasted two weeks...

On March second it was announced that overnight tourism pioneer Lucy Flemming would be part of the re-constituted Tribunal to Review the Department of the Environment's Decision on the Waterloo Project.

She was named as the Private Sector representative replacing the Chamber of Commerce Representative Kevin Herrera - because of a perceived conflict of interest where this brother was also a lead consultant for Waterloo.

To make way for the change the government had to change the law via a statutory instrument.

Well, reliable reports to 7news from multiple sources confirm that Flemming has decided to step down from the post - which was likely going to be a contentious one - since it is sure to go head to head with the Ashcroft Alliance.

No replacement has yet been identified.
