And while we got a chance to talk to the Deputy Compol out in the field, we couldn't talk to the Commissioner, who is currently out of the country on duty leave.
Before his departure he informed his commanders that Deputy Commissioner Bart Jones would hold over in his absence. But why would Jones hold over for the Compol if Dr Rosado is the senior deputy? We asked Rosado today - and he was diplomatic, even circumspect in his response:

"Honestly it would be a good and pleasant thing if we all lived together in unity as brothers and sisters and i know that in my way to success or in my path to success I will encounter many challenges but in accordance with the regulations 26 of the public service regulations I'm the senior deputy commissioner of police and as the senior deputy commissioner of police and the Co pilot of the police department I will continue to help hold the wheel and the sail to keep the ship on track and in unity."
As we have reported Deputy Bart Jones is suing the Security Services Commission for illegally promoting deputy Richard Rosado. Jones says that when Rosado was promoted there was no vacancy for a Deputy
The Compol is expected to return on Friday.
