And in other Port related news of a far more urgent nature, the Christian Workers Union sent out a release a short while ago making what seems to be a thinly veiled threat.

The release says that during negotiations to arrange better insurance coverage for the Stevedores, the Port management initiated discussions about changing Stevedores' hours of work. The CWU calls this, quote, "reprehensible and unacceptable."

A seething press release concludes ominously, quote, "What happens next on the waterfront rests with PBL."
