And while the ComPol may speak about his savior, he still does have those three licensed guns, and according to him people have 5 or 6, even 7 times that number - as many as 20 gun licenses!
And since the PM made his stance on guns clear on August 31st, we asked him today what he thinks of the ComPol issuing multiple licenses to one person - sometimes, in one day. He said that that question should be put to the commissioner, but then added that sometimes, people just like collecting guns.

"I think you need to ask the Compol why is it that he have done such thing. But I do believe that in some instances there are people that are gun collectors and so they have different types of guns for their collections and so they get that. It does not mean that they are out there to be able to go and commit crime. It's just they are gun collectors and in some instances they have more than one and so every gun that you have you need a license."
"And also there are some instances that when you renew you get a different gun you have to cancel that license and then a new license is issued. So you will see on the record as if all of these licenses have been issued to one person."
"But in many instances they don't have 10 guns or 15 or 7 guns. They might have 2 or 3."
