So, the "ay's" have it - and Barrow has to apologize. But, will he? Well, if you know Shyne Barrow like we know Shyne Barrow - the answer remains….? We'll let him fill in the blanks:

Reporter:
"You've been given until the end of the month to issue an official apology, do you intend to do so?"

Shyne Barrow, Leader of the Opposition
"No."

Reporter:
"So then do you expect that this will get to court?"

Shyne Barrow, Leader of the Opposition
"I don't want to anticipate what the government is doing, nothing surprises me, the government has no authority, no standing in this matter, just as we are out here, we are outside of the House, standing orders don't govern conduct or behavior outside of the House, all of the standing orders are to guide the operations inside the House so that there's no disruption for the business that needs to take place inside of the House, that is their opinion, they made a recommendation I have no intention..."

Courtney Menzies:
"Sir but then are you undermining in this case the decision by the Privileges Committee?"

Shyne Barrow, Leader of the Opposition
"No but the Privileges Committee had no authority. They could call a meeting on anything, let me be clear, that is the only thing that I agreed, they could call a meeting, but they have no standing, they cited no point of order, they stated no standing order that was violated, they stated no privilege that was violated, so no."

Reporter:
"Have you asked your father or has he given you any advice in relation to this whole no apology issue, and the issue of the Speaker?"

Shyne Barrow, Leader of the Opposition
"He supports my position 100%."
