And while Minister Fonseca is learning the ropes of the Foreign Affairs Ministry, Tanya Santos is doing the same as the new CEO of the Immigration Ministry, which falls under the PM's portfolio, along with the Blue Economy Ministry. So, PM effectively has four CEO's - Santos, Dr Osmond Martinez, Narda Garcia, and Kennedy Carillo.
And in the CEO shuffle, Adele Catzim Sanchez joined her predecessor, Marconi Leal Jr, over at the Human Development Ministry, making her the second CEO that has been transferred from the Transport Ministry.
It's hard to keep up, but the PM says it's not entirely strange to shuffle CEO's - or ministers.

"Ms Catzim, probably you're too young to remember, but Ms Catzim between the 1998 and 2008 government, she worked very closely with Minister Dolores in that ministry, doing that term that Minister Dolores was responsible for, so we wanted to do some changes and it just worked well for her to come to work with Minister Dolores and to then move Tanya over to Immigration and then Mr Middleton to be able to go over to the Ministry of Sports and Transport, so it worked out just well but we need to make the point that CEO's, just like Ministers, are changeable. Whereas you may be hired to work in a ministry, if we feel you are a better fit for another ministry, we can make those changes, or we change them, I think in the contract it's one month's notice that we need to give them."

"But I believe this will be Minister Ferguson's third CEO, at any point does the Cabinet intervene to find out why exactly he's switching CEO's so often?"

"Well I don't think you need to look at it being a third CEO, but looking at the results. In the first instance with CEO Leal, they were not getting along as you would want a minister and a CEO to work so the best thing to have done at that time was to make a change and now that we wanted to do this, we wanted to bring Adele where she is most effective, to Human Development, then we had to make some other changes to make that happen."
