But even if excluding Mayor Trapp was just political mischief, he says that on the ground, he feels the support. We asked him how nomination day went for his slate and the three term mayor said the crowd was especially impressive.
Earl Trapp, Mayor of SISE

"We had a very good show here, people came out on their own, I was really impressed. And that in itself has been one of my biggest encouragement, because of the marches that came out without anyone having to pay anybody. So I was grateful and impressed to see everybody but that in itself, believe me, have made a big imprint in this municipality. As a matter of fact, that happened Wednesday, Saturday morning I went to the market and you could have seen, I felt that overwhelming supporting from the people. I'm not sure it's because of that but if felt it much bigger when I went to the market on Saturday morning. But, yes, it's looking overwhelming and very great for us here in this municipality."
