But, political bickering is like a foreign language in Fonseca's Freetown constituency where the 5 term representative is rumored to be looking for a successor.
So, now that Vaughan is the new city administrator could he parlay this senior post into some additional leverage on the campaign trail? Fonseca says he doesn't need the help:

"Well I do not need any help to succeed in Freetown. We have a strong team in Freetown. Albert is a part of that team but no, I do not need him to be as I said. I did not encourage him to do that. I would much rather him being on the ground, not being city administrator, and being on the ground in Freetown working as chairman of that constituency. So there is no benefit to him being the administrator for Freetown; he would work for all of the city."
