And while Fonseca doesn't need any help - he seems to be making sure his political point man keeps his next well feathered. Vaughan will collect a hefty salary at city hall and still be able to supplement that with a stipend from NICH where he is a board member. We asked Fonseca about that:

"The only pay Albert gets at NICH board member that's the only he is a member of the board of directors. He gets him monthly stipend. Albert is not acting in any other capacity except a member of the board of directors at NICH so obviously if he takes on the role of city administrator on a full-time basis, obviously he will be limited in terms of his contributions that he can make to the work of NICH. So that is the only payment Albert receives from NICH is as a member of the board."
