Three Parties Will Contest Toledo East Bi-Election

We're just over three weeks away from a bye election in the Toledo East constituency.

And today the three parties who plan to contest the election held a meeting with the political parties and independent candidates who plan to contest the election.

There will be Dennis Williams for the UDP, Osmond Martinez for the PUP and Will Maheia for the PNP.

They met in the Education Department conference room to discuss nomination day requirements and to give an update on the preparations being made for the By-Election.

Nomination day is next Tuesday, July second, and for the first time in memory, the third-party PNP will be the first one nominated on nomination day, followed by PUP and then the UDP in the afternoon.
