And while you may or may not be convinced by Shyne Barrow's trying to play mister nice guy, he truly stretched credibility when he also tried to play peacemaker:

Shyne Barrow, Leader of the Opposition
"I, need to find a way to win 16 seats. And that includes even with people who don't support me in a, constituency that can win. As leader, I will do my best to help them, to win."

Jules Vasquez
"So then are you prepared to sit with Tracy Teagar Panton, Patrick Faber, John Saldivar and Beverly Williams."

Shyne Barrow, Leader of the Opposition
"I'm prepared, to do whatever is in the best interest of the party."

Jules Vasquez
"But, how can you support someone who you said has made a threat, who you feel we feel has been a threat on your life? You made a police complaint to that effect?"

Shyne Barrow, Leader of the Opposition
"Well, that as a matter of fact, the person admitted it. there's evidence of that. and, you know."

Jules Vasquez
"But I'm just saying I'm not asking you to assess the factual, the factual nature of it.I'm asking you, how do you sit and talk politics and progress with someone who you believe has threatened your life?"

Shyne Barrow, Leader of the Opposition
"But you keep saying believe as if I'm losing it nonetheless? The country comes first and the party comes first, and so I'm prepared to do whatever we need to do to, forgive and heal. in the better interest of not just the party, but the country."
