But we don't expect that "everyone"will include the latest faction in the UDP, which calls itself the Alliance For Democracy. It is led by Tracy Taegar Panton with prominent membership from Patrick Faber, John Saldivar and Beverly Williams.
Taegar - Panton who is in an open dispute with her party leadership is making the media rounds and this morning that landed her on the Sunup on 7 couch. She discussed the current state of play - or, state of tension in the UDP:
Tracy Taegar-Panton, Albert Area Rep.

"I am leading the charge for the alliance. There are 16 constituencies on board. We want to get all 31. You know, I keep hearing, we're looking for 16 seats. No, the alliance is looking for 31 seats. To contest the next general election, we need all colleagues on board."

Will you just sit there, sink with the ship, or will you decide to jump board and go on a next adventure somewhere else?"
Tracy Taegar-Panton, Albert Area Rep.
"There is the option of branching off, if that becomes necessary. But really, the deep desire is to wright the ship and to bring the United Democratic Party together to ensure that we can regain the trust and the confidence of the Belizean people."

"What are your timelines? What are we looking at? What should we be expecting within this next couple of weeks or months from this movement?"
Tracy Taegar-Panton, Albert Area Rep.
"Well, there's one thing you can expect within the next couple of weeks, if not sooner. We will take legal action. If that becomes necessary, if we aren't able to sit at the table and to find a way forward. And we are very open to signing a recall petition."
