Deep Blue Beef On San Pedro Between Mayor And Area Rep

There is a major rift in the PUP leadership on San Pedro - and it's coming to a head in the run up to the Caye Caulker Village Council elections. That's where the area rep Andre Perez supports one slate and the mayor Wally Nunez allegedly supports another.

And Mayor Nunez recently came under attack in a Facebook live post from the Executive Director of Hol Chan - who also happens to be Minister Perez's brother-in-law.

This is after the Mayor's name was used in a latter calling for Pou's resignation. Well. Pou put the mayor on Front Street saying he also gave a no objection for the dredging in the Hol Chan area:
