On Friday night - we challenged UDP caretaker aspirant Dr Abraham Flowers - confronting him with the fact that though he boasted publicly about treating people for illnesses, he was not a registered Doctor in Belize. Flowers had his credentials from Cuba but has not been accepted to be registered in Belize. He claims political discrimination.
But that didn't stop him from easily besting Carlos Perera in a Port Loyola caretaker convention. 612 votes were cast and Flowers received 342 votes whole Perera received 256.
