When the minister returned today we asked him what he feels about it and he said the process to get it fixed is much more complicated and much more frustrating than it seems.
Kareem Musa, Minister of Home Affairs

"It's it's been quite a frustrating process Jomarie, as you could imagine. I know how important it is in governance to have oversight from the Ministry of Finance to get something approved."
"And thereafter, the Contractor General for her approval. And so it's been a very slow process in coming to the final approval, so to speak. But I I'm informed I'm reliably informed that that has been granted and obviously at a very opportune time, it has taken us two months for us to actually get through the process of looking at the various, quotations from the companies, for us to finally arrive at the bid that was accepted by the Ministry of Finance. And so like I said, I've been told that it's been finally approved, but it has been a frustrating process."
