And if you believe the opposition - the country is on the precipice of a sinister turn in public affairs - so what are they going to do about it? That's what we asked:

Jules Vasquez
"But what is the opposition able to do, other than doing the same thing I do, make a lot of noise and complain? You all are a mass party. When are you all, or do you all plan, at any point, to mobilize visible public resistance against these unpopular decisions?"

Tracy Panton, Leader of the Opposition

"We, the opposition is doing what the opposition can do. You are waiting for us to stage a mass demonstration, but at least that's what you alluded to the last time. But before we can get to mass demonstration, we need to educate the Belizean people."

"We all know, and you know, intimately, that the party is rebuilding brick by brick. We have been in a very difficult place. We are not at full strength. We are still in the process of cementing our team."

"And so we are doing all that we can do in this present scenario. And when we are able to do more, we will do more. But what I will say, we are not going to allow this administration to sweep those issues under the rug."
