But all is not as well as it appears to be in Her Ladyship's realm. The scuttlebutt from within the Bar Association and court staff is that there is growing resentment over the Chief Justice's routinely passing over Belizeans in favor of foreigners for choice jobs within the judicial sector. Magistrates, who are part of the judiciary, increasingly complain that their courts, where the highest volume of interaction with the public occurs, are ignored and undervalued.
