So, all's well that ends well? Not really, there's still a lot of bad blood between the Belize Bus Association and the Ministry of Transportation.

And some of it goes back to Saturday when the Ministry of Transport had a press conference at the Biltmore. Transport CEO Chester Williams was critical of BBA President Phillip Jones and suggested he was being disingenuous:

Chester Williams, CEO - Ministry of Transport
"Phillip Is a good man but in leadership a leader is one who must be able to influence his followers to follow him. A leader is not one who must be influenced by his followers to follow them, right? So he need to change his role and importantly we need to learn to be honest to our people. As minister have said it was not an easy thing for government to approve the increase but because they asked for it and the government was looking at their plight it was approved but they wanted more than what government approved and because they did not get the more than what was approved that's the reason why now he turned it around and said well we will demonstrate now because we don't want any increase because it puts a burden on the Belizean people. Had it not been because of the 50 cents for the short drop he would be jumping hallelujah amen to heaven because he would have gotten his increase that he wanted."
