Her critics were already running her out of town, but sprinter Marion Jones has been vindicated in a big way. Her "B-sample" test results have come back negative, which means that Marion is cleared of suspicion of doping and cleared to participate in world track and field events.
In a statement from her lawyer Rich Nichols, Marion said that "I have never taken performance enhancing drugs and am pleased that a scientific process has verified that." With Marion now cleared to return to the track she is expected to compete in this weekend's world athletics final in Stuttgart, Germany.
