FIFA executives are in Belize tonight in the persons of Raphael Salguero, FIFA Executive Committee and Emergency Committee member, Ariel Alvarado CONCACAF Executive Committee member and Raphael Tinoco, UNCAF President. They were originally scheduled to meet with the Minister of Sports tomorrow - but on Thursday that was changed; an unsigned letter came from the FFB notifying them that the meeting is now set for tonight at 7:30 pm at a Chinese restaurant, Yim Saam next to the FFB headquarters on the Hummingbird Highway.
Now, 7:30 at night at a Chinese restaurant seems like no way to hold a high level meeting, but the Ministry's position is that it will not allow even an odd set of circumstances to delay a meeting with FIFA. In tomorrow night's newscast, we'll let you know how that meeting went …
