Professor Bill Gray, the world's leading hurricane forecaster has revised his projections for the season and now says that August could be a very active month in the Caribbean. Professor Gray says that during August there will be four named storms three hurricanes and one major hurricane. And while August could be a terror, Gray has slightly scaled back his overall forecast for the entire season which calls for 13 named storms, six hurricanes and two major hurricanes with one of those major storms making landfall in the Caribbean. This is 125% of the norm as opposed to what he had initially predicted that the season would be 160% of the norm.
