The cold front came on strong early this morning and record lows for February were set in the north. The National Meteorological service reports that preliminary information suggests that new record lows for February were set in the north, with Libertad in Corozal and Gallon Jug in Orange Walk registering temperatures of 41.7 °F.
And, lows for the February second date were also recorded at Libertad also at a brisk 41.7 °F, Tower Hill at 46.1 °F, PGIA Airport at 50.9°F, Baldy Beacon at 43.8 °F and Melinda at 50.9°F.
