Thirty-six persons walked into Courts Belize offices to claim over 36 thousand dollars in prizes that they won after being given a chance at the company's World Cup Lucky Dip. Customers were given a chance to pick any of the 32 countries that participated in this year's World Cup and hope that their choice would win the cup. Today those persons who chose Brazil came in to collect on their winnings, which was getting that day's purchase free of cost. We spoke to one lucky winner who walked away with over 2,000 dollars worth of merchandise:

This promotion was tied into our World Cup promotion where customers had a chance for every purchase they made they were able to choose a country participating in the World Cup. So, if they chose Argentina, for example, they should have been rooting for Argentina to win, and all those persons who chose Brazil got their purchase free.
