Atlantic Bank this morning launched its latest value-added service to its customers. It's called online bill pay and it allows customers to pay their electricity bill in two ways, either by visiting the Atlantic Bank offices or by doing it on-line. Marketing Manager for the bank, Pedro Lozano, explains how it can work for you.

"It can be down basically in two ways. The first one is a customer can go to http://www.atlanbank.com and make their payment online or if they wish to, they can come to any one of our offices and make a payment toward their light bill. It is like a extension of BEL to their services, but we are seeing it as making it much more convenient and safe and secure because we have seen that many people in the past would go to an agent or to a local bank in Belize and make their payment however just to find to find out at the end of the day, that they have been disconnected due to the information of that payment not reaching BEL on time. With our system, once you make your payment, you can be sure that your payment will reach the server at BEL at their corporate headquarters within seconds."
The bill pay service is available at any of the Atlantic Bank's offices countrywide.
