Carnival Cruise Port Project is A Go!

They broke ground at the end of April 2004 but so much time has passed since with nothing happening on the ground that there was growing public apprehension that the $100 million Carnival Cruise Tourism Port Project had fallen through. Well, it hasn't, in fact after a long and involved negotiation between Carnival and Belize Ports Limited, the two have finally settled a the terms for their new company, Belize Cruise Terminal Limited. 7NEWS has learned that signing ceremonies for that are planned for next week and the much-delayed project is expected to proceed within a month of that signing.
