Police Catch up With Bike Thief

This week we've reported on a string of violent bicycle thefts in the city. Tonight we have another report of a theft but in this case police made an arrest. Police say they were patrolling on Cemetery Road around 2 yesterday afternoon when they saw a man on a bike being chased by another who was running behind him and hollering for help. The police did help and when the caught up to the cyclist they learnt that he had just stolen the bike. 18 year old Jason Gillett has been charged with theft.
