Will Bus Crisis Be Averted?

The National Transport Board is meeting at this hour in Belmopan to try and ensure that there is not a bus crisis tomorrow. At this hour the Novelo brothers are making presentations to the board to plead the case for National Transport Limited, an affiliate of their Bel-Bus Company.

The board is under pressure from Novelo's the receiver to get the National Transport buses off the roads. According to our reports, the receiver is threatening that if there is no suitable resolution, they may pull their busses and their runs. In that event, we are informed that the Novelo's brothers have informed the board that their buses can take up the slack. While all this is up in the air, at this time, the board has not taken a decision.
