Seven tried, but today only two Courts customers hit it big in the store's Jacpot Promotion. One customer from each district was chosen last Thursday and this morning at Courts' main branch on the Northern Highway each customer got three spins and a chance to win up to $4,000 in cash or prizes. At the end of the show, Oscar Gutierrez from Orange Walk and Marguerite Hulse from Belize City came out on top. Here's how they did.

Keith Swift,
How much cash did you win?

Oscar Gutierrez, Courts Customer
"I am not too sure. I think I got $550 from the first spin which was the jacpot which will be doubled and also the $750 which would be doubled so that would be about $1,500-in total maybe about $2,600...not bad at all."

Keith Swift,
Any plans for the money?

Oscar Gutierrez,
"Well cash is always the right thing. You can use it at home, you can use it for everything so I am happy about it."

Keith Swift,
What did you win?

Marguerite Hulse,
"Let me see if I could remember, on the first roll I got jacpot which gives me $1,100. On the second roll I got home improvement which is $700 worth of it and on the third roll I got jacpot which is $1,500."

Keith Swift,
You already have plans for the money?

Marguerite Hulse,
"Bills, what else. Courts have quite a few for me also so they will collect back their money right back from me."

The other winners were Douglas Arnold from Punta Gorda, Rashieda Gideon from Stann Creek, Thomas Chee from San Ignacio, Richard Frazer from Belmopan and John Leslie from Corozal Town. The next draw will be in November.
