And in other BTL news, no surprise here but the BTL Board of Directors meeting called by Chairman in exile Jeff Prosser fizzled today. The meeting was convened with four directors from Prosser's ICC along with Deputy Secretary to the Board Fritz Sampson and Prosser's local attorney Lionel Welch.

Prosser chaired the meeting via teleconferencing. And we use that term "meeting" loosely because there really was no meeting. To the surprise of none, the government of Belize's directors were a no show and so there was no quorum and no meeting.

An angry press release from ICC criticized BTL's management for refusing to hand over documents needed for the meeting and said that the missing government directors acted in contempt of the court's ruling. ICC says they plan to file an application in the Supreme Court to force BTL to turn over the documents. Meanwhile the meeting has been rescheduled for another two weeks.
