Public's Supermarket Has A New Owner

It's one of the city's most popular supermarkets, legendary for low prices, but tonight Public's Supermarket has a new owner. Former owner, Nandu Nandwani, today confirmed to 7NEWS that he has sold Publics to Caribbean Best Products Limited and handed over management on Monday. Nandwani says that running the store was keeping him away from his new business which is manufacturing products in the far east. His import company, Nandu's will remain open. He says has been assured that the new owners will keep prices low, in the Public's tradition.
