This evening U.S. Ambassador Robert Dieter delivered US$250 worth of books to the Youth Business Trust. And while $500 in books doesn’t sound like much – to the Youth Business Trust it is. The books are business books – something priceless to its young entrepreneurs.

Robert Dieter, U.S. Ambassador
“We got a list of books suggested by the Youth Business Trust that they wanted to have in their library and so we went through the list and selected those that we thought we could afford under our budget and presented those today. Although the value of the gift is around US$250, resource books, especially professionally type books, are very expensive so US$250 can buy some valuable books but they are much more expensive than library books but we are happy to support youth business efforts and entrepreneurial interests and do our part to encourage people to start think about starting businesses of their own.”

The Youth Business Trust is now seeking funding to acquire two computers for their resource center. The Youth Business Trust helps young entrepreneurs between the ages of 18 and 35 by providing loans, training, mentorship, and business development services.
