He’s a Belizean by parentage and in fact Colin Ferrell the son of Ava Tucker even spent some of his years growing up in Belize. But now the 24 year old will have a chance to make his name in the National Football League.
The Indianapolis Colts have added Ferrell as one of 13 un-drafted rookie free agents. He has agreed to a contract with the team. But it doesn’t mean he’s on the team as a release from the Colts says the 6 foot, 295 pound defensive tackle will have a chance to make the team as one of the 53 players on the final roster.
And while making camp is an accomplishment, making the cut is another and in time we’ll let you know if he succeeds at that.
Ferrell is a 2007 graduate of Kent State University and was a standout defensive tackle for the school’s team, the Golden Flashes. He is a nephew of Zee Edgell the son of Ava Tucker and grandson of Veronica Tucker and the late Clive Tucker.
