One day after he was caught driving the getaway vehicle used in the holdup and robbery of ten thousand dollars from R&B’s Gas Station, twenty eight year old Jeremy Trapp was escorted over to the Magistrate’s Court where he was arraigned on the charges of robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery. Belize City police have yet to find the stolen loot and two other suspects. One has been identified as Kevin Sutherland aka Kevin Bailey.
The crime unfolded around ten forty on Tuesday morning outside of the service station at the corner of Central American Boulevard and Cemetery Road. Gas station owner Renan Briceno and employee John Conorquie were on their way to deposit the money at the bank when they were jacked by two armed men who jumped into a taxi.
The police caught up with the vehicle and its driver was taken into custody. Today in court Jeremy Trapp was denied bail. He has been remanded to Hattieville Prison until May twenty ninth.
