The Social Security Board is one of the most liquid entities in Belize, whether private or public and today it used some of that money to donate to a very worthy cause. SSB handed over 200 thousand dollars to NEMO to assist with flood relief.

Also making a donation was ADM Belize Mills, which contributed specifically to the Red Cross. The company is donating 11.3 metric tonnes of flour to the Red Cross for direct distribution to flood affected families. The flour will be included in food-aid parcels that will be delivered to area families.

And livestock producers also get special consideration. ADM is providing a 45-metric-ton supply of livestock feed available to the Belize Livestock Producers’ Association at substantially reduced cost.
