The officers responded and found him in Taylor’s alley – which is off cemetery road. After being briefly detained by police, he was taken directly to the hospital to treat injuries he sustained in the attack on the Chinese men. He was cut to the back and also burst his head. Lewis is detained by the C.I.B. In Belize City tonight but will be taken back to Dangriga where he will be charged for the double murder and other offences for the armed assault against the two men who survived.
In the very early hours of Tuesday morning, a man attacked a group of Chinese who were sitting in a yard gambling. He jumped over the fence armed with knives and tied them up, robbed them, and then killed them.
