Transport Minister Gives Break In Cane Truck Licenses

And while the Minister of Health is waiting for a break on those vaccines, the Minister of Public Utilities and Logistics is giving cane farmers a break on their truck licenses. Rodwell Ferguson has authorized a waiver of fees for the first month of 2021 for all registered cane farmers - which means that, for a month, no license has to be paid for their trucks, tractors, and trailers for this cane season, which opens December 28.

This waiver is to give the farmers the time to get their trucks ready for inspection for licensing purposes for this season. The waiver comes into effect December 28.
