A man is in need of O+ blood after he got into a car accident last night, just after 7 between miles 6 and 7 on the George Price Highway. 42-year-old James Muschamp was riding his motorcycle with another man riding pillion when he collided with a grey Buick.
36-year-old Dwayne Willacey, who was driving the vehicle, was reportedly attempting to overtake two vehicles, and did not see the motorcycle coming in the opposite direction. Willacey attempted to get back into his lane, but the left fender of his car hit the motorcycle, causing Muschamp to be thrown off.
Muschamp sustained a broken leg, and needed surgery. His wife is now appealing to blood donors, because, while he is out of surgery, he lost too much blood. His wife has advised those willing to give to do so in his name.
An NIP has been served to Willacey.
