Just last Friday, we told you how the government was announcing an increase in the pump price for regular gasoline from $11 dollars and 49 cents to $11 dollars and 82 cents per gallon. Well, the Ministry of Finance is back tonight, only 5 days later, with more bad news: premium gasoline will now go up, breaking the 12 dollar mark.

At midnight tonight, premium gas will increase by 35 cents from 11 dollars and 76 cents to 12 dollars and 11 cents per gallon. The prices for regular gasoline - which changed last Saturday - kerosene, and diesel will remain unchanged.

This matter was raised in the house today and the Prime Minister said it is a reflection of skyrocketing world oil prices and added that he would appoint an energy commission.
