The Complete Caribbean Program celebrated ten years today with a detailed look at how the initiative is improving lives in Belize. The program focuses on using science and technology to enhance the business climate as well as to stimulate private sector competitiveness through innovation. Currently, it is in its second phase and has supported Belize with an investment of US 2.2 million dollars towards local and regional projects.

At a forum today, the country rep from the IDB, which finances the program, as well as the CEO the Minister of Economy Development explained more about how this initiative has helped to develop Belize.

And the Minister of Agriculture spoke on the issues his sector still faces, and the possible solutions.

Complete Caribbean provides technical assistance to 13 regional countries.
