Two men who were convicted of murder in July of this year were today sentenced to life in prison - with no possibility of parole until they have served 40 years in jail.

They are 21-year-old Raheem Budram, the nephew of the deceased, and 21-year-old Kareem Eaghan Jr., who were convicted of the murder of 43 year old Shane Budram. The murder happened on 2020 in Wagner's Lane, also known as Jump Street, when the two men had a boisterous argument which ended in murder. Eaghan - at Raheem Budram's directive - pulled the trigger on Budram's uncle - leaving the victim with 10 shots to the body.

Today, Justice Ricardo O'Neil Sandcroft deducted their time on remand from their 40 year sentence, leaving them with 37-years, 6 months and 25 days to spend behind bars.
