New Us Ambassador Presents Credentials

Belize's New U.S. Ambassador has well and truly arrived.

And six years after the departure of the last Ambassador, Carlos Moreno - who left in 2016 - Ambassador Michelle Kwan has presented her letters of credence to both Minister of Foreign Affairs Eamon Courtenay and Governor General Froyla Tzalam.

A release from the U.S. Embassy tonight says, quote: "Since arriving Ambassador Kwan has expressed her enthusiasm to work with the Government and people of Belize and she has committed to working to continue and expand these efforts regarding our many mutual goals." End quote
