The Prime Minister may be the only man who has a strong sense of if or when Perez will return and he's in Miami tonight.
An Instagram post from Briceno says "Today in Miami, our team of Ministers and I sat down with executives for all the cruise lines and operations. It is in our country's best interest to maintain and continue to nurture that critical linkage with all cruise operators. We remain committed to identifying those developments and solutions for the continued growth of cruise tourism and Belize"
And one of the biggest players in that continued growth is Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines. The post does not say if PM Briceno had one on one meetings with executives from that company. It is expected that they are still waiting for the passage of what has been called the Portico Legislation, which is the Belize Cruise Ship docking Facility and Tourism Village Development Bill.
