The PACE Justice Program seeks to significantly improve justice reform in the region - and it is funded by a 10 million EURO grant.

The program was launched earlier this week in Barbados and it aims to reduce current and prevent future backlogs of criminal justice cases in Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, Belize, Dominica, Guyana, St Lucia, St Kitts and Nevis and Trinidad and Tobago by using software, hardware, training and capacity development, procedural reforms and community awareness interventions to address the causes of the backlog.

The event was attended by the Chief Justice of Belize, Louise Blenman, Minister of Home Affairs, Kareem Musa, Justice of the Supreme Court of Belize, Justice Francis Cumberbatch, and High Court Judge Nigel Pilgrim.
